You use the UN/EDIFACT BAPLIE Outbound stowplan message to convey outbound vessel information to a down-line terminal operator and vessel operator. This message is used to inform the terminal operator about what containers are shipped out of the terminal via vessel. You typically send this after you have completed planning and loading the containers to the vessel, when the vessel is about to leave the terminal.
The UN/EDIFACT BAPLIE Outbound stowplan message sends the following types of information about the vessel:
Vessel visit details
Vessel information
Loaded container details
Attached equipment details
Hazard information, if any, for the individual containers
